Same as always. [He repeated it, and found to his dismay that he had no idea what really counted for 'always', because lately it seemed that it was anything but 'fine', for anyone. But.]

Oh - it's okay. No one was allowed. I - that was part of the punishment. Don't blame yourself. I was the one who got myself put there.

I've already explained myself to Cassandra and Leliana. [It isn't defensive so much as weary.] I just... want to do the right thing. Wanted the Inquisition to do the right thing. But I took the wrong path to do it and made everything worse instead.

Maybe next time you should run any plans you have past me first. I'm very good at telling people when something is a bad idea.
